Radhe Krishna. Gurucharanaarppanam.
My journey in music and spirituality is a humble offering at the divine feet of my Guru and Bhagavan. After beginning my YouTube journey, many well-wishers lovingly asked if I taught music — and that gentle inquiry aligned with a dream I had long cherished.
I was fortunate to learn Carnatic music for over 16 years under the affectionate guidance of my Gurunathai, Smt. Seetha Lakshmi teacher. I am deeply blessed to have been born into the sacred lineage of Sri Lakshmanan Bhagavatar of Alampallam, Kollengode, Palakkad — my grandfather and a renowned Bhagavatar of his time. Carrying forward this divine legacy is both a privilege and my dharma.
My spiritual foundation was nurtured by Smt. Girija teacher, my Bhagavatam teacher, who also taught my mother. Together, my mother and Smt. Girija teacher taught me how to read and understand Srimad Bhagavatam, laying the seed of Bhakti and Vairagya in my heart from an early age.
My Manasika Guru, the divine Sri Sri Krishna Premi Swamigal, remains my greatest source of inspiration and guidance. His life — a living expression of Bhagavata Dharma — and his soulful, eye-opening pravachanams have transformed countless lives. It is my humble aspiration to reinforce and support his teachings and vision, through my seva.
Through our YouTube channel, Pibatha Bhagavatam, we are spreading the nectar of Bhagavata Dharma. Now, through Pibatha Sangeetam, I offer music classes — a heartfelt endeavour to share this ocean of Sangeetham with seekers, students, and lovers of devotional art.
I am also a self-taught visual artist (@daasanudasi) and the founder of Gurupadadhooli, a research initiative where we explore the lyrical and spiritual depths of Mahans’ compositions — decoding word-by-word meanings and revealing their inner essence.
With deep faith and gratitude, I’m building a digital course library to make these timeless treasures accessible step-by-step. The Thiruppavai course has already been launched.
Bhagavatam is my life and soul. Spreading Bhagavata Dharma is my life’s purpose. I am but a tool in the hands of my Guru and God.
Yours truly,
Sruthi Kailas (Daasanudasi)
